After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, your Tanzanian safari adventure begins. You will leave early for Tarangire National Park around 8:30 AM. This is the third largest park in Tanzania and is characterized by the impressive herds of elephants that you can find here. Baobab trees are another highlight of the Tarangire River, which flows year-round and is the lifeline of the park. Many animals, predator and prey alike, gather around the river where you can enjoy some great wildlife viewing. Dinner and accommodation in camp or lodge with tents.
Following your morning meal, your safari guide will gather you from your lodging and transport you to Lake Manyara National Park. Manyara is a relatively petite yet varied reserve, situated 120 kilometers to the west of Arusha. The park's characteristic is a shallow, saline lake. This lake spans a significant portion of the park, undergoing cycles of inundation and desiccation with the changing seasons. It provides habitat to myriad flamingos and more than 500 additional avian species. During your expedition of the reserve, you will encounter primates, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, elephants, and, with a measure of luck, lions reclining in the trees. The park is renowned for its assorted terrains, encompassing not only expansive grassy plains but also woodlands teeming with primates and precipices adorned with baobab trees. After an entire day spent in the reserve, you will journey to the campsite or tented lodge where you can unwind, relish dinner, and spend the night.
After breakfast, you will depart for the Serengeti National Park, passing through the beautiful Karatu High Fields and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leaving the highlands behind, you will descend into the heart of wild Africa: the Serengeti National Park, with its endless plains stretching as far as the eye can see. You will head towards the central area of the park, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, with the Seronera River providing a valuable source of water to this area and attracting a variety of wildlife. representative of most Serengeti species. You will arrive in time for lunch at Nabi Gate and enjoy an exciting game drive in the afternoon in Serengeti National Park. Dinner and accommodation in camp or lodge with tents.
After a relaxing morning and early lunch, you will have an exciting early morning game drive in Serengeti National Park to spot African wildlife in their natural habitat. You will then return to camp for brunch and a hot lunch. Our driver and cook will load everything on top of our safari vehicle, then you'll continue your game drive as you head out of the Serengeti and move towards Ngorongoro. Today you will go on some game viewing along the way as you head from the Serengeti National Park to the Ngorongoro Crater. You will arrive at the Ngorongoro Crater in the late afternoon, where you will spend the night on the crater rim. Dinner and accommodation in camp or lodge with tents.
Today you will enjoy an early breakfast and head straight to the bottom of the crater for a 5-6 hour tour of Ngorongoro Crater with a picnic lunch at the bottom of the crater, where you will have the chance to spot the Big Five and other iconic animals. You will then return to Arusha in the afternoon. At the end of your tour, we'll drop you off at the airport or at your accommodation in Arusha.
