Serengeti Great Migration Safari

Your journey will take you through the diverse landscapes of Tarangire National Park, where vast herds of elephants roam freely beneath the iconic Baobab trees. Follow the Tarangire River for exceptional wildlife viewing.

In Serengeti National Park, prepare to be amazed by the grandeur of lions, leopards, cheetahs, and more. Enjoy the scenic beauty of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area while immersing yourself in this incredible natural world. Let us guide you through a once-in-a-lifetime journey filled with wonder and excitement.

The wildlife in the southern Serengeti is captivating and weaves a unique tapestry of nature. Watching the young wildebeest take their first steps in life, while predators approach from all sides, is an impressive sight. Hunting and survival are part of the natural circle of life, but the beauty and strength of these animals are unparalleled. Every year, thousands of new offspring are born and join this adventure, offering a unique opportunity to witness one of nature’s wonders. For lovers of the wild, this spectacle is a must-see!

As the arrival of the dry season in May, the herd migrates towards Kenya’s Masai Mara. Along the way, they are joined by grazing gazelles and zebras that add color to their journey. Challenges include crossing rivers with 3,000 crocodiles and encountering Africa’s largest population of lions who work together to hunt wildebeest, providing a unique display of teamwork.

With the arrival of the short rains in late October, the migration starts its journey back into the Serengeti. By December, the herds pass through Seronera—a small settlement in central Serengeti, home to the official Serengeti Visitors’ Centre—on their way back to their calving grounds. And thus, the circle is complete.

During your safari, you will have the opportunity to observe and capture images of an amazing variety of wildlife. Here you have a small list of the animals you will be able to spot include:

Lions, Giraffes, African Elephants, zebra, Leopards, African buffalo, Spotted hyenas, Black Rhino, Birds and many more.
